Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CareerAI Architect ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

CareerAI Architect provides AI-assisted tools for CV creation, job application tracking, interview preparation, and career analytics. The Platform is offered as-is for informational and productivity purposes only.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
• You may not share your account with others.

4. Token Economy

Certain features consume tokens from your balance. Tokens have no monetary value and are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Token packs are purchased via Stripe and are subject to our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform via automated means
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise Platform security
• Use AI-generated content to deceive employers in a fraudulent manner
• Resell or sublicense Platform access without written permission
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights

6. Chrome Extension

The CareerAI Chrome Extension reads page content on career sites solely to assist you in filling forms and saving jobs. It does not transmit browsing data to our servers. You grant permission to the extension on a per-site basis and may revoke access at any time via browser settings.

7. Intellectual Property

Platform code, design, and branding are owned by CareerAI Architect. Content you upload (CV, profile data) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, depending on severity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerAI Architect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration unless prohibited by local law.
